Apostle D. LaMar Wyche, Sr is PCC's Vice Presiding Bishop, temporarily also serving as General Secretary and Adjunct General.  â€‹He is  known for his superior business ethics and a standard of excellence. He specializes in episcopal / church protocol and administrative functions.

A native of New Jersey, Apostle David L. Wyche, Sr. was born in Newark and raised in the Springfield/Union area. His ministry began with the founding of Victory in Praise Ministries and Freedom Fellowship Church in New Jersey. He now serves as Establishmentarian, Founder, and Senior Pastor of Sanctuary Cathedral Assemblies in Middletown, Delaware. A visionary leader, he is dedicated to guiding both millennials and the broader church community with wisdom and generational leadership.


Apostle Wyche is deeply committed to saving souls and connecting with communities through transparency and engagement. His ministry is built on three pillars: prayer, preaching, and praise. His mission is to encourage, teach, and challenge individuals with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.


Raised in the church, Apostle Wyche formally began ministry in 2004 after receiving the Holy Spirit at Faith Tabernacle United Holy Church of America under Elder James F. McRae. His spiritual foundation includes time spent at Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church and St. Paul Calvary United Church of God. In 2006, under Bishop Wayne L. Johnson at Bibleway Deliverance Center, his passion for preaching and serving deepened. He was appointed Adjutant Apostolic and later Chief Adjutant, leading him to further training at the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops from 2007 to 2013.


Licensed to minister in 2010, he launched VIP Friday Nights, which evolved into evangelistic services. In 2011, he was elevated to Adjutant-General of the Deliverance Covenant Fellowship Churches, serving for two years. Apostle Wyche studied at Berkley College of Business, United Christian Bible College, Eastern Bible Institute, and Zarephath University.


On September 16, 2012, he was ordained and installed as Founder and Pastor of Victory in Praise Ministries, Inc. On July 29, 2017, he was consecrated to the Bishopric and affirmed to Apostolic ministry by Archbishop J. Shawn Urquhart and the Apostolic Covenant Fellowship of Churches and Ministries.


Apostle Wyche has held senior leadership roles across multiple organizations, including the Assemblies International Fellowship and Sanctuary Covenant Fellowship, where he is Presiding Bishop and General Prelate. He also serves in the Faith Fellowship of Churches and Ministries, International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ, Bibleway Deliverance Covenant Fellowship, and the Philadelphia Council of Clergy.


A respected churchman, he upholds integrity, business ethics, and excellence in all areas of service. Specializing in church protocol and administration, he strives to live and lead by scripture, often saying, “No matter what you do, just do it the Bible way.”


A devoted father, Bishop Wyche seeks to build and leave a godly legacy for his children.
